My top 6 Drugstore Cheek Products

My Top 6 Drugstore Cheek Products

A few days ago, I was browsing the drugstore section at Ulta online and I couldn’t help but notice the number of available cheek products. There were a bunch of new products and, of course, the classics like Wet n Wild blushes.

Cheek products have always been something that I feel drawn to and I find that the drugstore has many amazing and affordable options for you to choose from.

I decided to take a look at my own drugstore cheek product collection and evaluated everything. I compiled my top 6 products that I think everyone should at least try once, and made this post so that no one misses out on them.

So if you’re ready for some new –or rediscovered– cheek products at an affordable price, keep on reading!

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer | $15

Let us kick off the top 6 with a classic. The Butter Bronzer has been a well-loved product since it came out. And for good reason.

This bronzer is a high quality, buttery, satin powder that leaves that perfect sun-kissed look behind. Because it is so buttery and smooth, it blends perfectly into the skin and it will never look like you’re wearing too much. Bonus: it smells like actual heaven. I can confirm.

Maybelline New York City Bronzer | $7.98

Moving on to something newer at the drugstore, this bronzer recently came out and it’s been the talk of the town. If you’re looking for a bronzer that doubles as a contour powder, this is your perfect match.

Unlike the Butter Bronzer, this formula is matte but never flat. It’s a very easy product to use because it doesn’t take much to blend and it builds up very well. The shade range isn’t great but if you find that one of the 3 shades suits you, definitely give it a try.

Flower Beauty Blush Bomb Color Drops for Cheeks | $10

These are my absolute favorite drugstore blushes. They’re dupes to the oh-so-famous Cloud Paints by Glossier but in a dewier version. And more affordable.

If you’re not familiar with these, they’re essentially a cream-gel hybrid blush that is extremely easy to use. They have enough pigment to show up on your cheeks but you can control how intense you want the color. These give a beautiful glow to the skin and the color range offers something for everyone.

Essence Satin Touch Blush | $2.99

This blush is as affordable as it gets. But don’t let the price fool you. The product itself is of very high quality.

This only comes in two colors and I’m gonna need more asap. This blush is very silky smooth to the touch, which makes it easy to blend. It’s pigmented but not too pigmented and it lasts quite long on the cheeks. Because it is a satin formula, it adds a slight glow to the skin that makes you look like the epitome of health. 10/10 would recommend!

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder | $5.99

This highlighter is not for the faint of heart. If you’re into super intense “Instagram” highlighter, you can get yours from Wet n Wild.

Despite being very intense, this highlighter is very smooth. It blends very well and it builds up without a problem. The more you apply, the more intense it’s gonna look –but it will never look chalky. And since it’s a powder, it’s guaranteed to last quite long on the skin.

Burt’s Bees All Aglow Bronzer & Highlighter Stick | $12.99

This product is quite versatile if you have lighter skin. Depending on your skin tone and the shade you pick, you can use this product as a bronzer or highlight. If you have a deeper skin though, you’ll probably only get away with using it as a highlighter.

If you’re not looking for an intense highlight, this is the product for you. If you’re familiar with Glossier’s Haloscope, this is a close dupe. It’s a mix of balm and shimmer so it will apply very subtly on the skin no matter how much you build it up. Because of the nature of the formula, this isn’t a long-lasting highlighter, but it’s very easy to reapply and it doesn’t mess with whatever products you have underneath.

And that’s a wrap on my top 6 cheek products at the drugstore! Are there any other products you’d add to the list?

Thank you so much for reading!

Lots of love,

Isa ❤
