The Best Concealers According To A Concealer Junkie

Happy Halloween babes!

Reflecting on these past couple of spooky weeks, I couldn’t help but think there’s nothing spookier out there, than dark circles. Am I right or am I right?

Which is why I wanted to talk about concealers this week. I dubbed myself a concealer junkie many moons ago and it’s finally my time to shine.

I’ve tried many different formulas and finishes of concealer throughout the years and I’ve finally rounded up my faves for every occasion. And I’m gonna share them with you today.

Let’s go!

Rms “Un” Cover-Up Concealer

If you’ve ever wanted to get on the Glossier Stretch Concealer hype but your skin’s too oily, try this baby out. It’s emollient and dewy like the Glossier one but it settles waaay better into your skin.

The formula is very natural and lightweight and so is the coverage. You can build it up to medium coverage without a problem but I find that lighter layers always work best. It’s the perfect concealer for no-makeup makeup days. Especially since it has good lasting power while still looking like your skin.

LA Girl HD Pro. Conceal

If you’re looking for a concealer that does the trick but you have a budget to stick to, this is the concealer for you.

This is a medium coverage formula that is extremely efficient about hiding dark circles. (I should know). Even though it’s great coverage the formula is very thin and it doesn’t look heavy under the eyes no matter how much you layer. On top of that this concealer will last all day with minimal fade. A total bang for your buck!

Milk Makeup Flex Concealer

A forever favorite of mine. This is a really unique concealer because it’s self-setting. Meaning, you don’t have to set it with powder.

The formula is medium to full coverage and it is thicker and dryer than the previous ones. But it blends out like a dream and it’s comfortable to wear. I also love to use it on blemishes and other areas of my face because it doesn’t highlight anything. And it’s super long-lasting, so I’ll be covered until I decide to take it off.

NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Contour Concealer

I haven’t heard many people talking about this and I don’t know why. This is one of the greatest concealers you can find at the drugstore.

This is a medium/buildable coverage and it’s a satin finish. When you blend it out it becomes one with your skin and it makes your under eyes look fresh and awake. Even though it’s a satin formula it lasts for quite a long time if you set it. Bonus: you can also use this as a contour!

Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Conceal

Apart from having the longest name ever this concealer deserves all the hype it gets. It might just be my favorite concealer of all time. Shape Tape is quaking.

This is a full coverage concealer. It’s a satin finish which makes it very comfortable to wear despite being a heavier formula. This makes my under eyes look flawless and awake and it’s really made me step up my concealer game. On top of that, it lasts as long as I need it to last, no matter what. This is truly my ride or die.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

And finally, the concealer that made all other concealers wanna step up their game. For the longest time, this was everyone’s favorite. And I can totally see why.

If you’re looking for the fullest coverage concealer there is, buy Shape Tape. It will literally erase your dark circles. It is a matte finish so it dries fully once you blend it out. If you have a dryer skin type this could potentially be too heavy for you. But if you don’t, you’re good to go. Because of its unique formula and coverage, this will last forever under your eyes and anywhere else you wanna put it. It’s a fantastic concealer!

I just wanted to note that I have normal/combo skin and I always set my concealers with powder to avoid creasing. I’ve done that with all the concealers I featured in this post and I never experienced any problems. Ok, note over.

What other concealers do you recommend I try? This concealer junkie needs moooore!

Thank yo so much for tuning in!

Happy Halloween,

Isa ❤
