The Luxe Edit

It’s October 3rd! This has nothing to do with today’s post, but I’m a total Mean Girls fan so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

I haven’t done an edit in a really long time. So this week I wanted to bring it back into the light.

Today we’re talking about all things luxe. I’m not a luxe kind of gal because I simply feel like there are great products out there that aren’t crazy expensive. But that could just be my budget talking.

But sometimes, even though they’re expensive, the products are great. And I simply have to buy them. That, is what brings us to this edit.

It’s gonna be a bit different that other edits I’ve done in the past. But it’ll still be fun. I promise!

We’re all aware that there are many brands with beautiful shadows, at an affordable price. And we’re all aware Natasha Denona isn’t one of them.

Her shadows are expensive, but the quality is unmatched. I love the color palette of the Biba Palette because It’s easy to reach for and I’m always guaranteed excellent application.

I also recently bought the Tom Ford Badass Mascara and, can I just say, I’m hooked! The formula is very unique and it makes my lashes look beautiful. The wand is also very peculiar but it works. This mascara is worth every penny!

I have yet to splurge on high-end foundation but I’m getting there. In the mean time I got my Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter to keep me company.

You guys know I love it because I’ve already reviewed it. Even though it’s pricy, it makes my skin glow. I also love and have reviewed her Airbrush Flawless Finish powder and I also love it.

But I’m also introducing a new face product to the blog! The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment from Tatcha.

It’s a very unique hybrid between eye cream and concealer and I like wearing it on lighter makeup days. I’m not sure if I love this product yet, but I’m really enjoying it!

I lied. I’m introducing 2 face products today.

I’ve been using the Giorgio Armani Beauty A-Contour for months and I’m obsessed! It’s a sheer contour that’s perfect for everyday use. As a natural makeup lover, I reach for this one almost daily.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but for whatever reason, buying luxe lip products isn’t as intimidating as other things. Maybe it’s because I have practice lol.

My favorites from my collection are the Pat McGrath Labs PermaGel Ultra Lip Pencil and the Lancôme L’Absolu Laquers.

The PMG lip pencil is also new to my collection and I’ve been reaching for it a lot. I like the formula and the pencil glides beautifully on the lips. I might need to buy more!

And you already know of my love for the L’Absolu Laquers so I won’t go on and on about them. But just know I love them!

What’s your favorite luxe makeup product?

Thank you so much for reading!

Lots of love,

Isa ❤️
