Best 6 Products for Dewy, Wet Skin

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: The dew will never die!

Dewy skin is here to stay and I feel like we’re always on the hunt for products that make us look naturally wet. Thankfully brands have picked up on this and they’re always coming out with these types of products.

I have rummaged through my entire collection (took me like 2 hours), to find the best dewy products at every price point.

I found 6 that work perfectly and I cannot wait to share them with you!

L’Orèal True Match Lumi Glotion | $14.99

Let’s kick this off with a drugstore find. The Lumi Glotion is the perfect candidate if you want to add an all-over glow to the skin. You can mix it with your foundation or you can use it as a primer. You can also use it as a subtle highlighter for the high points of the face.

L'Oréal true match lumi glotion

This product is amazing because it’s really lightweight and it’s great for all skin types. It makes your skin look glowy because the shimmers are very finely milled. If you’re looking for a subtle way to glow, this is it!

Kiehl’s Glow Formula Skin Hydrator | $38

Switching right away to a high end product. This is Kiehl’s so it’s a skincare product first and a glow giver second. If you don’t wear makeup every day but still wanna glow, this is a great product for you.

Kiehl's Glow Formula Skin Hydrator

You can use it as a moisturizer or you can mix it with a richer one to customize the dew. Even though the shimmers are finely milled, they’re still detectable on the face. Nothing major though. This product gives you a really natural glow and it makes your skin look a bit wet because of the hydrating factor of it. It’s great.

Elf Beautifully Bare Highlighting Stick in Fresh Morning Dew | $4

This product right here is a steal! It’s really affordable and it makes your skin look amazing. Again, if you’re a minimal makeup kind of babe, you’ll love this.

Elf Beautifully Bare Highlighting Stick

This specific shade contains no shimmer. It’s literally just dew (oil?). That means it’s really natural looking, which in turn, makes the skin look healthy and plump. If you wanna go a bit bolder with it you can also use it on your lids for that whole ‘glossy lid’ look.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer | $28

I recently put up a review on this product so I’m not gonna get into too much detail. The only thing you need to know is that I love it!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer

This is a tinted moisturizer with shimmer on it. It’s kinda visible on the skin but it makes it look super glowy. It doesn’t cover much but it evens out the skin and it makes you look really healthy and fresh.

Nudestix Skin Glossing Pencil | $26

This is a similar product to the Elf one, but it does contain shimmer. If you’re into the wet skin look but want more of a highlighter effect, go for this one.

Nudestix Skin Glossing Pencil

This is a weird product because it’s kind of sticky and it’s wet. Not uncomfortable though. It has a slight pink hue to it but it’s barely noticeable. Since it’s stick, it lasts a long time on the face and it doesn’t slip and slide. The packaging makes it super easy to use and carry around with you.

Glossier Haloscope | $22

I couldn’t not mention this product. It’s a cult favorite and it’s known for its dewy formula. This product combines the balm of the dew and the shimmer of a highlighter and it brings you the best of both worlds.

Glossier Haloscope

It’s really natural looking but it does have noticeable shimmer particles that make it look like a wet highlighter. I like using it on days when I don’t wear makeup and on days that I wear lots of makeup and I want my skin to look glossy. It’s perfect for everything!

One thing I forgot to mention at the beginning is that I have combination skin. I know dewy skin is mostly reserved for people with dry skin but all the products mentioned in this post are suited for oilier skin as well.

What is your go-to dewy/wet product?

Thank you so much for reading!

Lots of love,

Isa ❤
