Micellar water has been all-the-rage for quite some time now. Every brand seems to be coming out with their own version of it. With so many different options, how do we know which one is the best of them all?
It’s kind of hard to do that, since we all have different opinions and skin types. But today, I want to share my thoughts on three of the most popular brands of micellar water and tell you which one is the best.
If you wanna know more, keep reading!
The three brands that I’m Talking about today are Simple, Bioderma and Garnier. All of them have a very similar price and all of them have the same function. Remove makeup, dirt and debris from the skin.
I love micellar waters to remove my makeup because they don’t strip my face and they don’t leave an oily residue behind. They’re easy to use and gentle on the skin.
Simple Cleansing Micellar Water | $6 | This is the cheapest out of all three and the one I’ve used the most. It’s very gentle on the skin and it leaves no residue behind. Since it is such a gentle product I find that it takes a bit more effort than normal to really get makeup off my face. I have to go in several times to make sure my face is clean.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Make-up Removing Micelle Solution | $14.90 | This one’s the most expensive but I think it’s a very reasonable price considering the amount you get. Out of all three this one takes my makeup off the easiest and fastest. A little product goes a long way and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and clean. The only drawback for this one is that it isn’t as easily accessible to everyone.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | $7 | This one is also a very affordable option and you get the most amount of product. It takes my makeup off well, but sometimes I do find that I have to go back in a second time. It doesn’t irritate or strip my skin. The biggest con for me is that it leaves a slight oily residue on my skin and I have to rinse my face after using it.
These are all good in my opinion, but my favorite is for sure the Bioderma one. It does everything I need it to do and I can get it at my local drugstore. If you ever have the chance to try it out I recommend you do.
What’s your favourite micellar water formula? I’d love to know!
