What is the perfect eyeshadow palette for me? That is a question every beauty lover has asked themselves at least once. And you know what? It’s a very hard question to answer.
There are millions of neutral palettes. Different colors, sizes, prices; you name it. So I understand it can become quite overwhelming to pick one.
Today I’m sharing my review on the UD Naked Ultimate Basics palette, to help anyone out there looking for that perfect palette, inform themselves on yet another option.
UD eyeshadows have always been really good quality shadows. They’re pigmented, buttery and blend beautifully on the eyes. This palette is no exception. The eyeshadows are easy to work with and they don’t have a ton of fallout.
This palette comes with 12 shades just like most of their other palettes. It has something for everyone! Since it’s the ‘ultimate basics’ palette, eleven out of the twelve neutral shades are matte. And it comes with warm tones and cool tones so there’s definitely something everyone can work with. I love the fact that there are some subtle pops of color that will work with any of the other shades in the palette. And I also love how you can pull other shadows from your collection and easily pair them with these colors and create something completely different each time you use it.
This product retails for $54 and you can get it at Sephora, Ulta or Urban Decay. I think the palette is a bit overpriced for what it is. But if you’re a fan of UD and you love their shadows, then I think you won’t have a problem with that.
Overall I’d give this palette 7/10. I love the shadows and I love the colors but I think there are better eyeshadow formulas at a lower price. I also own a lot of neutral palettes so these are not outstanding in my collection.
I would recommend this to someone who is starting out on makeup and wants to splurge on something that is good quality and that’s easy to use. Or if you don’t own many palettes and you want something that’s versatile then this could be the palette for you.
What do you guys think about this palette? Have you tried it? Do you want to try it? Make sure to let me know!
Thank you all so much for tuning in!
Lot’s of love,
P.S. Today was my last day of school ever! I’m so excited!
