Travel Time: Florence, Italy

Hey guys! Today’s travel journal is going to be on one of my favorite places of all time, Florence. It is a beautiful city, with a lot of things to do and some of the most amazing food ever.

If you want to know more about this amazing city, you know what to do!

Florence was the last destination in our tour around Europe and it was by far my favorite. It was the complete opposite from Venice in the sense that most people in the city move around in a Vespa, so there’s definitely more noise. The spaces are also wider and more open and I feel like there is much to do.

A huge part of this trip was the food. In my family food is a big deal and we love trying out good food. We went to a lot of different restaurants and honestly every place in Italy has good food, but whilst in Florence I found some really good ones.

My #1 recommendation is Bucca Mario. It’s quite an old charming restaurant, filled with some of the best food you’ll ever eat in your life. My grandparents found this restaurant years ago and it’s become sort of a family tradition to eat there whenever we get the chance. If you’re looking for an indescribable dining experience I recommend this one.

The shopping district is amazing and there are a ton of great stores for every budget. I suggest you go check out the stores that are different cause most of them are stores you can only find there. Plus they’re full of amazing things!

There are also a ton of museums for all those art and history lovers out there and they are quite awesome. I’m not much of a museum lover as well but I found myself very interested in some of the things that I learned there. I do suggest that you book a tour when exploring museums cause you learn so much more that way.

All in all Florence is an amazing city filled with culture,  good people, and great food.  There’s so much to do and so many things to explore you’ll never be bored. But let me warn you, once you go to Florence, you’ll never wanna leave. But I’ll let you figure that on your own.

Thank you all so much for reading!

Sending love,

Isa ❤
