Today was my last day of school before Christmas break! And I’m gonna celebrate with blush. Cause who wouldn’t want to celebrate with blush?
In this post you’re gonna learn about my top 6 holiday blushes and why I think they’re holiday apropriate. Tis’ the season to wear blush!
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Celebrated
This is a great and super easy blush for this time of the year. It’s a neutral blush so it will suit pretty much any skin tone. What I love the most about this blush, is that it’s very soft and delicate. The holidays are normally the time of year when everyone does a more dramatic eye, glitter, and whatnot. This blush is great for more dramatic looks because it’s not overpowering.
StudioMakeup Soft Blend Blush in Plum
When I look at this color all I can think about is the word ‘festive’. It’s quite colorful but it goes on the skin nicely and it blends very well. I like the look of deeper blushes during this time of year. This blush is the perfect way to change up your look, just in time for the holidays.
The Body Shop All-In-One Cheek Colour in Ginger
My favorite thing about this blush is the golden sparkles running through it. Everything about it screams Christmas to me. It’s a bit powdery but that isn’t really a problem for me. The sparkles running through it are finely milled but they are noticeable. The color itself is nothing special, just a simple coral. But if you want to add a little bit more Christmas spirit to your day to day look, this blush will make it super easy for you.
MAC Casual Lip & Cheek Colour in Hi Jinks!
This blush looks intense but don’t be alarmed by it’s brightness, it’s actually a super flattering color. When you sheer it out, it becomes a nice natural flushed type of color. Plus since it is a cream blush it adds a bit of dewiness to toe skin. And it lasts really long on the cheeks, perfect for holiday parties.
Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Birthday Suit
Colourpop Blushes are awesome and super affordable. This color is another neutral but it has a hint of purple in it. It’s super easy to wear and you can pair it up with any eye look. No matter how dramatic it is. There are also teeny tiny glitter particles in it which makes the blush super festive.
Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Never Been Kissed
Another deep blush. In the swatch it looks quite bright, but that’s just the sun. I like to wear this blush on it’s own on the cheeks. No bronzer nor highlight. It gives a very fresh look to the skin but at the same time it makes it look warm and very ‘holiday’. You can pair this one up with very dramatic eye looks or with minimal makeup and it will always look great.
What did you guys think about my holiday blushes? I hope you liked my suggestions and that you try them out this season. Also make sure to share your favorite blushes to wear during the holidays, so that I can try them out.
