Easy Colorful Makeup Tutorial

As I have mentioned in some of my previous posts, summer is my favorite season. Partly because I get to play with very colorful makeup. I also think that summer is more about wearing less makeup and looking chill. At least that’s how it is in my case. Today I have a very simple yet colorful look that is perfect for summer. It’s also very easy and everyone can do it.

Let’s dive right in!

After priming my eyes I used a white eyeliner as a base for my shadows. I just put white all over my lid and I blended it out with my fingers, keeping most intensity on the lash line. Having a white base will help brighten the eyeshadows that we’re gonna put on top.

What I did after was grab an eyeshadow that is very close to my skin tone and I used it as my transition color. Even though you can’t see it in the picture it made the other eyeshadows blend easier as I got to the crease. Then I went in with a soft purple color for all over the lid. I layered some different shadows to get the color I wanted, but you can use whatever you have available. I blended the purple all over the lid and took it up to my crease just a little bit. I left the lid color very subtle, but you can keep on building it up as much as you want.

Moving on to the lower lash line I went in with some of the white liner I used on the lid and I blended it with my finger to be able to put color on top. Next I applied blue-ish teal eyeshadow but I wanted it to be more intense, so I went with a similar colored eye liner. I also ran it along the waterline to make it look connected.

Lastly I just applied a few coats of mascara and a very light purple shadow in the inner corner of the eye, to brighten it up.

And that’s it! A super easy and fun makeup look for the summer. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial and I hope that you learned something new today.

Make sure to stay tuned ❤
