If you’ve read my travel category in the blog, you know that I went to Europe recently. And I, of course, accommodated
a lot some time for shopping. Since I’m a makeup addict I bought a lot of makeup, and most of the things I bought were new to me. I bought a lot of drugstore/high street makeup in London and I did a little damage in Sephora while in Barcelona. I’ve tested these products for a while so I’ll include some mini reviews so you get an idea of what I think of them. If you would like me to review something more in detail make sure to tell me in the comment section below!
Bumble and Bumble The Surf Set
This set includes the Creme Rinse conditioner, the Foam Wash shampoo, and the Surf spray. I wanted my hair to have some more volume and since I cut it recently I wanted to rock the beach wave look. Unfortunately my hair is flat with capital f, so the products didn’t do much for me. My hair felt thicker but I didn’t get the results I was hoping for.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain in #9 Watermelon Slice
A lot of youtubers rave about this product so I decided to try it because I’m crazy about liquid lipsticks and I hadn’t tried this formula. But I did not like this at all. It doesn’t settle well on my lips and it makes my lips look even drier that they already are. I might give this another try and who knows, maybe I’ll make it work.
Benefit Puff Off!
I got this because my under eye area is dry most of the time and thanks to that my concealer always creased. This is super cooling, de-puffing, and super hydrating. My under eyes feel smooth and my concealer glides on like a dream. I would recommend this %100.
Sleek Face Form in Fair
Sleek is a new brand for me and this product intrigued me. It has a contour shade, a blush, and a highlight all in one; which in my opinion is very versatile. The shades are very light so if you have fair to light skin I think you can pull it off. If you have deeper skin try different shades.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist!
This is another new brand for me and I have really enjoyed this product. It doesn’t dry to a matte finish but it looks matte. This product also stains a bit and it last a long time on the lips.
Soap & Glory Supercat liquid black eyeliner pen
Overall I think this is a good product. It has a felt tip and the pigmentation is on point. I’m used to working with a brush tip applicator so I’ve found it a little bit tricky to make it work but I’m sure that with practice I’ll get it right.
Rimmel Provocalips Lip Colour in Skinny Dipping
Yet another liquid lipstick, I’m clearly on a kick. The color of this compliments my skin tone very well and the formula is not super drying. The product has a balm on one side to apply after you applied the liquid lipstick and whenever your lips start feeling super dry, and I really enjoy it.
Barry M Brow Kit Shape & Define
This is a very versatile product as well. It comes with a brow wax, a powder, and a highlight. There are also some tools you can use. This is a very easy product to use and to build up. The only thing I noticed is that the shade that I got was the only one they were selling and it is pretty dark. So I’m not sure if they have other shades, but don’t quote me on that.
Sleek Makeup i-Divine eyeshadow palette in Vintage Romance
I was very tempted to buy a neutral palette but I decided that I would add a little bit of color to my collection, so I got this one. It was really inexpensive and the shades are very unique and pigmented. The only downside is that there is only one matte shade in the whole palette.
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 04 Deep Matte
This is another hyped up product on the internet so I decided to try it. I haven’t used it yet but from what I’ve swatched I can tell that it’s easy to blend and to build up. The shade that I picked might be a bit to orange though.
The Body Shop Lip Scuff
This product is kind of like a lip scrub in a lipstick tube and I really like it. It’s easier and less messy to exfoliate my lips with this. The actual product is nothing special, just a normal lip scrub that you could get anywhere.
The Body Shop Baked-To-Last Bronzer in shade 02
I’ve used this one a lot because I really do love it. I can use it as a blush, highlighter, or bronzer and for some reason I’m obsessed with the way it smells. This product is very shimmery and it’s not a dark shade.
The Body Shop All-in-One Blusher in 02 Ginger
This is a very rosy pinky shimmery blush and I actually got it for free! I don’t know what’s up with the name of it cause it doesn’t look like Ginger at all. I like that it’s shimmery but not overpowering, it’s subtle. It gives your skin a more awake look.
The Body Shop Matte Kajal White Eyeliner
This is a very silky and smooth eyeliner. It stays put in the waterline and it’s also good to make some cool graphic eyeliner looks. The only thing is that I don’t think that I can sharpen it so if I want a crisp line it’s gonna be challenging to accomplish.
Urban Decay All nighter and De-slick Makeup Setting Sprays
I’ve had both of these products before so this was a repurchase. I got a smaller size because I was traveling and my suitcase was already pretty heavy with all of my previous shopping. They’re awesome setting sprays and I recommend them.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in Medium- Light Neutral
This concealer is gorgeous, there’s no other way to describe it. My mom bought it a few months ago and I tried her’s and fell in love. I did’t want to buy it originally because it’s not cheap but I knew that I would use it constantly so I got it. This concealer is, just like the name suggests weightless and has complete coverage. It doesn’t crease on me if I set it right away and it looks good throughout the day.
I did buy quite a few things but keep in mind that in my country I can’t get a hold of these brands unless I order them online. I hope you found this post entertaining and useful.
‘Till next post!
