Today I’m going to share my experience in Barcelona with you. Even though I didn’t spend a lot of time there I had a blast getting to know the city. The people in Barcelona are very charismatic and the city is beautiful.
I was able to do a lot of shopping while in Barcelona but I also went sightseeing. I took one of those open top tour buses and I was able to get an overview of the city since I was only there for a short amount of time. I was able to visit Casa Milà designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi and I really enjoyed it. I did a lot of walking around and just getting to know the city as well. One of my favorite things was that I got to experience a Tablao. A Tablao is a place where Flamenco shows are performed. I loved the show a lot and I was amazed by the dancers. Unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to take pictures.
But I have to be honest, my favorite part of the trip was, hands down, the amazing food. I ate paella basically every day and I also ate a lot of seafood. I ate chorizo and Jamón Ibérico, which is the most delicious ham in the world, like my life depended on it. And I tried to snap some pics for you guys but somehow I ate all of the food before I even remembered to take pictures. There was also an ice cream place near my hotel that served ice cream in the shape of a rose so I obviously had to try it as well.
Overall I enjoyed my stay in Barcelona and when I get the chance I will definitely return. If you’re contemplating going to Barcelona I would say go ahead, it’s totally worth it.
See you next post!
